About Nikki
Nikki Claire was born in Los Angeles, California and raised by a single mother who taught her the cruciality of independence, the beauty of uniqueness and the importance of adventure. Due to the focus on dreams and self discovery that Nikki was raised with, she was very lucky to know what she wanted to do with her life since the age of seven. That was when she put pen to paper and wrote her first song. By the age of 10 she was learning guitar and taking various music lessons to learn the most she could about the craft of songwriting. She begged her mom to move her to Nashville to continue learning and growing as an artist and at age 14 they left everything behind and moved across the country to music city. Now at 23, Nikki is playing steady band gigs on Broadway and performing regularly at writers rounds around town .
Nikki’s influences include James Taylor, Jim Croce and her favorite 70s bands (Three Dog Night, Bread, Crosby stills Nash and Young etc). Her musical goals are to bring back a classic rock sound in a modern way and sing about the emotions we all feel bit think we’re alone in. She believes that we can turn even the darkest of and experiences and pains into beauty through the magic of music that connects us all.
